    1. Re: [BOSCHONG] Hanse Calvert born before 1765 - Augusta County, VA, related t...
    2. Boschong Subscribers, I have made great progress with Hanse/Hance Calvert. Still have not been able to prove that he was related to the Elizabeth Calvert married to Andrew Bushong but there are some interesting results. I found some marriages and a Deed with the mention of Hance Calvert and what could be some of the marriages of his children. It is possible that Hance Calvert knew the Bosang family living in Staunton. In the 1810 census John Cooper was a neighbor of Hance Calvert's and in 1803, John Cooper had put up the Surety for the marriage of William Bosang and Elizabeth Thompson. (See January 2005 posts in the BOSCHONG Archives). --------------- Spotsylvania County, Virginia 1739 - Joseph Calvert and Lucy Webb ---------------- Marriages Returns - Independent City of Staunton (Surrounded by Augusta County) Date of Marriage: 14 July 1803 Minister: Rev.
