The 1830 Census for Harrison, Stark Co., Ohio lists Eve Catherine Bushong as head of household, age 50-59. We know that (John) Jacob Bushong's wife's name was Eve/Eva Catherine. The other members of the household are appropriate ages for their children. Since Jacob died on August 16, 1830 - perhaps the census taker arrived at their house after Jacob died. The names Jacob Bushong & Samuel Bushong are numerous in Ohio, but the name Eve Catherine Bushong is unique.
