I have a marriage date for Jacob Bushong and Eve Catherine Bossert/Bosert of Jan. 1, 1784 and the first child, John, born Oct. 22, 1784. Yes, she may have been only 14 years old, but they did that. Notice also in the 1830 census, there is a John Bushong listed next to her. Seven of the children were married and probably on their own by 1830. Dates for John and Eve's children go something like: 1786, 1789, 1791, 1794, 1797, 1804, 1805, 1807. Also, sometimes those slash marks were not always reliable.
