R. Peck, of Pataskala, Ohio, who are cousins of Mr. Wright, heard in some way that he was suffering severely with cramp colic and at once left home to come down and see about him. Reaching Woodstock Wednesday evening they engaged a physician and drove out to Mr. Wright's home arriving there at a late hour of the night. They found mr. Wright sleeping soundly and perfectly well. an investigation at once took place and the whole matter proved to be a false alarm. George hadn't a bit of cramp colic and had only indulged a little two freely in water melons. He thinks the fellow who phones the news to Ohio got things mixed. However, he was mighty glad to see his relatives. NOTE: We are pretty sure this article was written by John H. Grabill. -------------------------------- 1900 Federal Census: Virginia Johnston Mag. SAME NEWSPAPER Page 3, Column 3 HAUSENFLUCK - CRABILL CASE The circuit court has been engaged this week in the trail of the Hausenfluck-Crabill case. The subject in controversy is a bond for $1,500 which Hausenfluck claims was given him by the late Harrison Crabill while the heirs of Crabill contend that the signatures to the bond were forged. One of the witnesses for the plaintiff was George I. Wright who had held the bond along with his wife. Several days ago, Miss Wright was teaching him his morning lessons, and had her hand on a box which the horse stood on. She told him to get on the box when he placed his forefoot on the young ladies hand, bruising it considerably.
