My Grandfather was Asa Borton and my Grandmother was Hazel Leiby (the daughter of Laura Borton), so my Mom is from 2 lines of the Bortons , the interbreeding actually makes me my own 6th cousin. I do have the lines from John Borton but I am very interested in the Bortons from Wm Borton back , I do know that generally the lines do go to Wm the Conquerer but no specific ancestry as far as names and dates .
