I am relying on two large family trees done by a couple of cousins who concentrated on their own lines. We seem to run to Williams, Matthews and Johns. No Charles it seems. There were loads of them around in the 1700 and early 1800s and any one of them could have descendants who turned into your line. I was also married in St. John's church Hillingdon and Hayes is the next place along the road eastwards. But I know of no Worleys in my experience. It seems that some of the census takers were not terribly good at writing legibly and I can see Jane could quite easily turn into James, just needs an out of place squiggle! If you have any more info. I would be interested, might just clear things up a little. Cheers, Barbara Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
