I am starting to research the Liddle family. The family story is they came from the border of England and Scotland. My mother remembered seeing in an old book a place named Liddesdale and a river called the Liddle River. My mother's family is all around Buffalo, New York. Any leads? The Liddles came over about 6 generations ago. I would appreciate any web address for information, also.
