Hi Would anyone be able to give me any info regarding ROMANNO TOWER. This tower was supposedly owned by my border ROMANES ancestors. I have only seen one reference to it (on the web) and would like to know where in the borders it is/was located. Ancestors were mainly from Roxburgh but it could have been anywhere in the lowlands. I'm taking my long awaited trip to Scotland on 6th May and would like to visit the tower or its past location TIA Meg (Sydney)

No mention of a tower, but the Borders are full of old pele towers and the ruins thereof, so there might be something in the area.
