To Nancy Gray: My ancestors, the STOTT family, lived in Roxburghshire. They emigrated to the USA in 1818 from the port of Leith, now a part of Edinburgh. They also settled in Andes, Delaware Co., New York. I'm not sure which USA port they entered, but I'd guess Philadelphia or NY.
