    3. To Nancy Gray: My ancestors, the STOTT family, lived in Roxburghshire. They emigrated to the USA in 1818 from the port of Leith, now a part of Edinburgh. They also settled in Andes, Delaware Co., New York. I'm not sure which USA port they entered, but I'd guess Philadelphia or NY. You are fortunate that your family moved to Delaware Co. as volunteers have created a fantastic genealogical web site for the county: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nydelawa/ I've spent many hours researching in that site.
