hi Does anyone have any conection or any information on a James Bertram and Jane Lindsay married 1810 children William born 18.12.1813, Helen born 22.8.1811 and Jane born 20.7.1818. From what I've been told is that they were christened in the Edinburgh Parish . By this I have assumed they mean the city of Edinburgh and a parish within it. If anyone knowns anything about James and his parents and if he had any brothers & sisters , the same goes for Jane. These people would have been GGGG grandparents William B Bertram married Agnes Crowe she was born in 1814 in Coldingham to William and Jane Crowe . Agnes was the fourth child the others were Jane born 12.5.1805 , William born 29.5.1808, Elizabeth Jeffrey born 20.11.1810. William and Agnes moved from the borders to Caithness having 4 children there before moving to Orkney and having 13 other children of which I only know of my GG grandad William Harper Bertram.
