Hi everyone, I have just received a copy of a death certificate of a child (Jane Clark, 4 years old - died 28/3/1857 in Hawick) and on it was stated that her burial place was 'Churchyard of Wilton'. I am wondering if any knows if this 'Churchyard' still exists, where it might be and if there are any lists of burials there that may be searched. One reason I am interested is that Jane also had a younger sister Mary Clark who died at 4 months of age just before the 1856. I don't have much information on her at all - however it is possible that the two children may be buried in the same place. Any thoughts, ideas or information gratefully received.
