According to the IGI, William HOBKIRK and Agnes LAIDLAW were of Easter High Chester, Roberton, SEL at the time of the baptism of their first child Robert on 3 Dec 1809. Can SKS tell me anything about Easter High Chester e.g. was it a farm? Does anybody know where I might find information on the residents there in the late 18th and early 19th centuries? Peter J.
