To Maria and Dee I too have a HALL in my research so thought I would just join in here, if you don't mind. Don't have a lot on mine. She was my GGGrandmother, named Mary HALL married to William JOHNSTONE. Their son, my GGrandfather, was named John Hall JOHNSTONE, b abt 1844/45, in Dumfries. He travelled to New Zealand in abt 1865.
