Dianne, I saw your message listing the Crozer families in Roxburghshire. I have a James Crozier, b. 1781, who lived at least the last part of his life in Hillsborough, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. He died in 1852 and is buried in the Bangor Abbey Graveyard with his wife Jane and two daughters, Jane 1815-1839, Mary Kelley 1807-1849. Could my James Crozier be the same man as James Crozer, son of James Crozer and Margaret Blackadder of Linton Parish? Does the Linton Parish James, Jr. show up in any of the parish records after 1805? Where exactly is is Linton Parish and how large is it?
