Hello Margaret, Thankyou for taking the time to look for any Rutherfords on the MI's in the Cavers Parish. I would have to agree that there is every possibility that the family may have moved to Cavers. The other possibility is that their mother, Betsy Oliver,came originally from the Cavers parish. I have yet to find the births of the first three children between 1829 and 1833.In the 1841 and 1851 census, they are listed as being born in Scotland. From Dianne Dixon, NZ.
