Hi Everyone. I just received the will of my g(x5) grandfather Duncan SINCLAIR who was a gardener at the Mellerstain Estate, husband of Christian TAIT. He did 1833. I discovered the following info on his children: Christian SINCLAIR married Thomas WRIGHT an Innkeeper in Edinburgh. Their issue was Christian (Christy) and Margaret. Janet SINCLAIR married John ANDERSON, a Mason in Kelso. Their issue was Christian, John, William, Jessie, George, Finlay and Margaret. Rachel SINCLAIR married Thomas MANDERSON in Edinburgh. Their issue was Christian, Margaret, Jessie and Rachel. Duncan's sons were John SINCLAIR, a gardener at Hackney in the County of Middlesex, and George, Nursery and Seedsman at the New Cross near London. Duncan could have had other grandchildren Finlay D. SINCLAIR, Jane SINCLAIR, Mary SINCLAIR, Sara SINCLAIR and Elizabeth SINCLAIR. Not know which belongs to John or to George. Duncan mentions an Uncle Duncan. Anyone recognize any of these names.
