Looking for any information and or connections to/ about this family,please. Thomas McDonald SUDDENS (b c 1836 in Edinburgh) and his wife Jane Martha WOODLAND (chr 1837 in Sunderland) I have some details of these two (Jane's family and Thomas' and what they got up to in NZ) but cannot find their marriage in early 1850's in Sunderland,England according to their death certs in NZ.. I have looked in the GRO and the IGI under SUTTON. SIDDENS, SIDDONS SYDDENS etc but no joy so maybe they weren't married or maybe elsewhere but have covered Scotland as well looking for Thomas' siblings and no luck. Children: Jane cannot find her birth,again looked GRO etc,(should be about 1854) came to New Zealand with parents and brother Robert in 1859 Margaret and Robert (GRO shows born 1856 and they did not come to NZ so presumably died young or stillborn) Agnes born 1857 died 1858 Robert born 1858 came to NZ in 1859 Other names in Janes family include WINTERSGILL and KILVINGTON.
