Hi Everyone. Hope this isn't a faux pas asking this, but does anyone know of someone who I could contact to transcribe a will for me at the Thomas Thomson House in Edinburgh that wouldn't charge me an arm and a leg. I just received information from the Scottish Record Office that my (5x)great grandfather Duncan SINCLAIR left a will and inventory, but they can't photocopy it for me because the volume it is in is"unsuitable for photocopying due to its physical condition". They said however I could make arrangements to view the book and transcribe it myself. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, so it's impossible for me, but I'd like to hire someone to do it for me. If someone could contact me off list please with a name or two I would really appreciate it. I'm very anxious to see what this will has in it that may provide clues for me. Thank you.
