Hello Listers, Here's my brick wall: Robert Logan born about 1723 somewhere in Scotland. He may come from the Border area, or possibly Ayrshire, but these are only educated ;-) guesses. Anyway, he turns up on the Isle of Man around 1760's as a merchant (and possible smuggler) in Ramsey. He possibly has a brother, John Logan, who also settles on the Isle of Man and the 2 of them marry sisters (Jane & Elizabeth Christian) and settle at Dreemskerry, Maughold. I've lots of info on them from then on, but I'd dearly love to trace them back to Scotland. Any help, suggestions etc welcome. Regards, Judith Hoskins -- Judith Hoskins
