    3. Aberdour is a village on the south coast of Fife, across the Forth from Edinburgh and ca. 5 miles east of the Forth Bridges. There is also a ruined church and manse, St Drostans and a village New Aberdour at Aberdour Bay, between Macduff and Fraserburgh on the north coast of Aberdeenshire. And of course Aberlour on the Spey, south of Elgin. So it looks like the secomd one is what you are looking for? The old parish registers should give you baptism and marriage records from 1698. (LDS Indexes on micro fiche and Family Search) A great source of information on NE Scotland is the Aberdeen and NE Scotland FHS in Aberdeen. You should join! www.anesfhs.org.uk/ or e-mail to enquiries@anesfhs.org.uk Stuart. barbbuck wrote: > > Where is Aberdour, Scotland??? Is it in the Borders??
