I am seeking any further clues or info on this family: 1851 CENSUS Turnpike Road, WEST LINTON Robert HODGE - 50 - born Lanark, Labourer, Head, md Janet - 50 - born Stobo, wife Robert HODGE - 4 - born Edinburgh, Grandson James WHITE - 4 - born Linton, Grandson Janet's maiden name is HISLOP. I have been unable to find the baptisms of either of the grandsons so far... nor am I able to identify them for sure in the 1881 Census - if they were indeed both still alive. The children I have for this couple are: John HODGE - chr 24 Sept 1820, Kilbucho And Broughton And Glenholm, Peeblesshire!! James HODGE - chr 21 July 1822, Skirling, Peeblesshire Janet HODGE - chr 23 March 1825, Skirling, Peeblesshire Elizabeth HODGE - 11 June 1827, Skirling, Peeblesshire I believe this is not a complete list...
