Thank you to all those Listers who have sent their research on their Rutherford family to me. I cannot find any direct link with my family yet but there is plenty of research for me to work on. How elusive the Walter and Andrew Rutherfords are, and how much more elusive are the females in the Rutherford family ! Jean Scot m. abt. 1754, Mary Bell m. abt. 1773, Janet Farries m. abt. 1800 and Janet Jardine m. abt. 1806. Maybe the next approach should be to look at the Church Records, if any.
