Hello I am looking for ancestors of the JOHNSTONs of North Westmorland. Thomas Johnston b Ormside near Appleby 1850s. His father was Joseph Johnston who married Anne Davidson/Daveson in St Mary's Carlisle Cumberland in 1770s. He and two brothers were gardeners and game keepers at Acornbank Temple Sowerby after that time. I am Thomas Johnston born Knock Cross Westmorland 1935; son of Lawrence born Old Bewley Castle Bolton Westmorland 1894. Any information would be greatly appreciated. T. Johnston
