Reposting another SCOTT; Thomas, an iron forger, who married Jane EWING in Glasgow c1820. He was supposedly from the Borders, possibly near Melrose. Would he have learned his trade there or more likely in or near Glsagow? Jane EWING was originally from Dundee and related to Sir Alfred EWING, physicist and Professor at both Dundee and Edinburgh but we are drawing a Blank on Jane also.
