Hi Anna, I have Cairns in those areas. My Janet Cairns was born about 1805 in ?? Berwickshire, she married George Aitchison 1822 Greenlaw, her father was Thomas, she had a brother Alexander, also I think, a sister Catherine and Alison. Anything sound like a connection. Ruth Edwards
