Hi to all, It's a long time since I have seen any LEITCH references so I am re posting my direct LEITCH ancestors. I have more information on the families of many of their siblings which I will be happy to share if anyone thinks they have a link. I have also collected a fair amount of information on other LEITCH lines which I have not been able to connect so far. 3X GRANDFATHER is: John LEITCH, b. Edinburgh MLN abt. 1785, married Janet FRASER, 1810 in Edinburgh Canongate. They had at least 1 child: 2X GREAT GRANDMOTHER is: Mary LEITCH b. Edinburgh Canongate 1817, She was unmarried. She had 4 children by different fathers including: GREAT GRANDFATHER is: John LEITCH or PEARSON, b. Tranent ELN abt 1838, married Margaret YOUNG, 14 June 1861 in Lauder BEW They had 5 children. He died 1873 and Margaret then married a George WATT. They had two more children. GRANDFATHER is: John LEITCH, b. Stow MLN 1 April 1863, married Janet GRAY LUMSDEN 25 November 1890.
