Hi to all, It's a long time since I have seen any CHISHOLM references so I am re posting my direct CHISHOLM ancestors. From a list of lovely names from parish registers in my little black book I have 1772 Thomas Chizem. No details, I'm afraid, but almost certainly one of the Newcastle upon Tyne parishes. With Martin Bone, schiurgion, Jane Trash, cook, Robert Rake-straw, Margaret Mangles, Mr Jump, excise officer et al, it sounds like Happy Families. Those with probable Scottish connections include Cuthbert Freezer 1673, Elliner Goe-lightly 1659, Jane Mac-in-tosh 1712, John Munckgummery 1598. Makes one thankful for wildcards. Jim Balmer
