This one is a Welsh one and only gives her husband's name. I have searched through MIs, etc. in the hope that some of her family might show up - as have other distant relatives in Canada for the past 20 years! The only extra piece of information that might be of use is that her husband's brother called one of his daughters Esther Carson Burgess. Why was this? Could the minister have got totally confused (i.e. parents written as Samuel Burgess/Euphemia Colthard rather than James Burgess/Jean Carson), am I missing something? Does anyone know of a manufacturing firm called Carson or Crae/Mcrae near the border? Apart from place and cause of death, the Eng & Wales death certs are really very little help to family historians. Why oh why did most of my Scots ancestors die in Eng & Wales ;-) Judy
