    3. Morning Listers I wonder if anyone could advise me how I might check an entry in the Foulden Berwickshire parish register as I've never as yet needed to access any Scottish records! With thanks Jim

    3. Hi Jim, I've looked at the Foulden parish register a few times on microfilm by ordering it in at my local LDS library. $AUS6 for four weeks and you can look at it any time that the library is open. I'm curious about the names you are researching there, as they are like old friends to me. I have some printouts from the very early years of the register as members of my family were there in 1682 when the register began, and were there up to the late 1800's. Try this page of the LDS website to see what church records they have filmed for Foulden. http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp ?display=localitydetails&subject=3056&subject_disp=Scotland%2C+Berwick%2 C+Foulden&columns=*,0,0 Regards, Judy -----Original Message----- From: Jim Smith [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, 27 January 2004 8:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [BORDER] Foulden Parish register Morning Listers I wonder if anyone could advise me how I might check an entry in the Foulden Berwickshire parish register as I've never as yet needed to access any Scottish records!
