Hi Judy, I found a similar note on a registration of interest to me. I asked Scotlands Peoples on line help and was told it was a correction of an error or additional information. Most often it is the addition of a cause of death from the coroners report. The date and volume refer to the records correction in the register. As of a few months ago these images were not online and had to be requested in writting to the registrar. Hope that is some help.
