I'm trying to figure out how to make the best use of Ordnance maps. They are strange beasts. I'm thinking of the 1921-28 series for now. I finally found the index maps so I can figure out adjacent maps. I don't see any information on what the scale is. When you first open it I wonder what the scale is and then what is the scale on each magnification? Are Parish boundaries shown or do you have to go to a different series? John
