You may or may not know that BMD certs from 1855 were amazingly informative - it was the first year and they got carried away. As well as the usual info (child and parents names, etc) they give parental ages and birthplaces, year and place of marriage, and number of other children, specifying male or female, and living or dead. This one would definitely be worth getting from Scotlands People. There's also another child - Christina Porter Temple born 1 Mar 1859 Hutton. Lesley Robertson
