If you go to Scotlands People, you will be able to search for his birth certificate or look for the family in the census http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ . However, be warned - these are not rare names. If the only identifying feature you have is that he was a twin, you're going to have to check a lot of people. Lesley Robertson
