Hi, Judy - I was wondering if you had any more information on James Elliot (I assume he's in there because you have some interest in him). My GGG Grandfather was a James Elliot about whom I have little information. He married Janet Murdy or Murdie in Jedburgh on 14 Aug 1842 and they produced a son called Thomas in 1847 and that's all I have. I was wondering oif maybe they were the same person.
