Hello Everyone, I'm searching for any links with James TELFORD, b 1854 Kirkandrews Upon Esk, Cul, and / or his family. He and his family appear on the 1881 census, as follows:- James TELFORD - Head - M - Male - 27 - b. Kirkandrews On Esk - Cumberland - Ag Labourer. Thomasina TELFORD - Wife - M - Female - 24 - b. Scotland. Mary TELFORD - Daur - Female - 5 - b. Scotland. James TELFORD - Son - Male - 3 - b. Scotland. George TELFORD - Son - Male - 3m - b. Kirkandrews On Esk - Cumberland. Agnes TELFORD - Visitor - Female - 13 - b. Scotland. Later on they had another daughter called Agnes TELFORD, b 1893 Kirkandrews Upon Esk, Cul. James and his family later moved to Springfield, Gretna, DFG, where his daughter Agnes TELFORD married Irvine RUTHEFORD (b.Oaklands, Annan 1892) in 1912. Thomasina (formerly IRELAND) was b, 1856, Dornoch, DFG. d. Gretna DFG, 1929. I am particularly interested in his parentage and locations of births of his Scottish children.
