    1. [BORDER] Kelso Marriage 1811 - Isabel LIETCH
    2. Eleanor Clouter
    3. Hi, I'm still trying to track down the origins of my LIETCH family which I think is in the Berwick Upon Tweed border area. I've had some wonderful help from this list and hope I can prevail on listers once again for assistance. My 4x gt grandfather, Rev William LIETCH, had a sister by the name of Isabel/Isabella. Her 1852 death notice in the 'North and South Shields Gazette' stated she was widow of Mr James HARDY, manufacturer, Kelso. Someone gave me the following from IGI: > I have found > a marriage on the I.G.I. for an Isabella Leach to James Hardie on 28 April 1811 > at Kelso,Roxburgh,Scotland Where can I get a copy of this marriage record? Does anyone know if it would state the name of the bride's parents? I'm hoping this might turn out to be the documentation I need to reveal the parentage of my LIETCH ancestor. Please note, LIETCH has many spellings including LEITCH, LEICH, LIECH, LEACH, LEECH etc. I feel like I'm constantly butting my head against a brick wall in trying to unravel the origins of my LIETCH family. Any help deeply appreciated!! Kind regards, Eleanor Clouter, Canada
