I wonder if some kind researcher could help me to find the birth and/or marriage and/or death of ANDREW RUTHERFORD in the Jedburgh area ? (Birth about 1752 and Marriage about 1750) ANDREW RUTHERFORD and his wife ISOBEL SCOT had children : George b. 2.8.1752 C. 13.9.1752 Walter b.5.7.1754 C. 14.7.1754 Andrew b. 29.3.1757 C. 10.4.1757 Robert b. 11.2.1760 Thomas b. 10.12.1763 C. 19.12.1763 All these were found on the Film No. 559522 Associate Session Congregation, Jedburgh. All the children were listed as being born at Hundhaughlee, Jedburgh except the first child George. For him it just gave Birth and Christening then Associate Session Congregation. I was telling you that I think my MacDougall's of Kelso are somehow connected to the Rutherfords. If not senior, it could be junior, and he may mention family. I've found the wills to be extremely helpful. Sometimes you don't hit the right one, but when you do, wow, the information you get is amazing. My ancestor Duncan Sinclair listed all his children, in-laws, and uncle, and all his grandchildren.
