Hi Trish, Have you tried Genes Reunited? I was able to connect with my birthfather's family who still live in the same little town in Scotland. They remember my grandfather. You upload your family and Genes Reunited matches you with others that may or may not be related. Diana Reno, NV Trish Lewis <trishlewis@accesswave.ca> wrote: Hi Diana Don't mind at all. Thank you for the email. I'm at a brick wall with my SINCLAIR's right now. The only relative I know of Duncan's is his brother Archibald and all their descendants. There is not one James in there. My SINCLAIR's originated from Perthshire. Duncan ended up being a gardener at the Mellerstain Estate in Gordon, Berwickshire, while Archibald became a gardener at the Bonnington Estate in Lanark. I'm sure there must have been more siblings for Duncan & Archibald as there was about 10 years between the birth of the two. (1750 & 1761) But, I'm having trouble finding out who their parents were. I'm sure if there were other brothers, they were likely gardeners at large estates. Seems to run in the family. If I come across your James during my research, I'll definitely get back to you. Sorry I wasn't of much help. My gggaunt, Elizabeth Lidgate, married a James Sinclair (b. 1822) in 1862 at Graebridge, Borthwick. He was a powdermaker.
