It is only the indexes/transcripts to the Scottish Census that are available on Ancestry for 1841, 1851 and 1861. They do not link to an image like the English, US and Canadian ones. The individual transcripts and links to the other family members work just fine for any I have tried. This sample below if for my 3rd great grand Aunt who lived in Ayton Berwick. It may not be images but it is a great start.
