I am told from a family source that an Elspeth GIBSON of Eccles was a great aunt. I cannot find her on the 1881 census although there are Gibsons at Eccles then. Does anyone have access to earlier census for Eccles who could check this lady for me. I am hoping she could prove to be a missing piece of the family jigsaw that may link me back to the prior generation. Any help gratefully received, Mary N.
