Hello all: I am new to this list. I'm looking for information on George Skelton, his wife Elizabeth Watson, and their daughter, Matilda Skelton (my gggrandmother). The Skelton family I am pursuing is from Wiberfoss, England. George (my gggranfather) was born about 1800 and Elizabeth (my gggrandmother) about 1810. Matilda was born in August 1832. She married James Francis on July 12, 1851 in Shippen, Tioga County, PA. She later married her sister's widower, Simeon Bacon. George's parents (my ggggrandparents) may have been Richard Skelton, born March 27, 1758, in Brampton, Cumberland, England who married Jane Hetherington on May 30th, 1782.
