He is the illegitimate s/o Luke Craig (female) who is described as house or domestic servant. My request is if someone who has a copy of the 1861 census could see if they can find Luke Craig for me in the town of Lintlaw. I have tried looking her up in the census index but to no avail, so I presume the name is spelt differently. I have not been able to find her in the 1851 or 1841 census either, but I don't know which Parish she may have been living in, but I thought I should be able to find her in the 1861 census as I now have an address for her.
