I think I have another example of the schoolmaster serving as registrar so I would think it is the same person. There is a class photo of Crailing School in about 1910 in Old Jedburgh - a postcard book for which I did the research and wrote the text. It shows George Snr and his daughter Mary, who also taught at the school. George Snr died in 1912.
