Good to hear from you Arthur, No, I haven't found any more on the Rutherford's. I have been gradually going over all my families with the additional info that's now available on line and filling in a lot of blanks, but havent really done any more work on the Rutherford line. Happy Holidays! I don't know if this adds anything to the situation, but I recall that Scotlands' people had an amount of old documents from a Rutherfurd / Rutherford family who seemed to be a wealthy and prominent land owning family in the Camptown / Camphouse area (about 8 miles or so South of Jedburgh) of Jedburgh parish in the late 1700's and early 1800's. I was trying to trace Northumbrian TEMPLE family members of Elsdon parish who moved to the Camphouse area about 1800 to farm when i came across these Rutherfords who seemed to own the land around Camptown.
