I have a family of Scott's born at Castleton in the early 1800's David Scott b. 1777/78 at Yarrow, Selkirk married Jane Scott b abt 1780 at Wilton Roxburgh daughter of William Scott and according to her death certificate Isabella Irvine(though I wonder if her son in law made a mistake and it might have been Isabella Kedzie) They had children William 1804 born Castleton had a daughter Beatrice Thomas 1806 Isabella 1808 Helen 1811 m. Walter Beattie George 1813 Elizabeth b. 1818 at Yarrow m. William Pow Christian b. 1823 at Yarrow m. Thomas Rutherford David and Jane are buried at Roberton, Selkirk.
