Any help or suggestions?? Survival of records is patchy, but if you mean BMDs, they didn't start anywhere in Scotland until 1855. We mostly rely on church records (baptisms and marriages) before that, but only the records of the Church of Scotland are easily available. Other records MAY be in the National Archives.
