hi folks, i'm just writing to say that at long last i've been able to prove that the Dr Thomas DAVIDSON i;ve been hunting so long is indeed the Thomas i believed he was, that was born 16 Dec 1816 at Lempitlaw, Sprouston ROX :-) that makes him the s. of James DAVIDSON, farmer, and Janet LECH/LECK/LOCH! with lots of siblings :-) with a little educated guesswork, i suspect that the above James is the s. of Henry DAVIDSON & Isabel HALLIWALL mum, Janet, may be the dau of Thomas LECH/LECK & Mgt MIDDLEMAS if anyone has any further knowledge about thse couples and their kids and can either verify the possiblilty or equally useful, disqualify them, i'd be very grateful. thanks for your time and trouble and a special thanks to to those of you who filled me in on Thomas's siblings and parish register entries. they're now - in the tree :-) i hope everyone's research is going well le durachd :-) fionnghal ___________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
