Seeking descendents of Mary McKenzie, born 30 May 1814-baptised at Ashkirk, Roxburghshire died 3 May 1890 Lilliesleaf, Roxburghshire. Mary's parents were William McKenzie (about 1767 to 1842) and Janet Brown (1780 to 1857). She had four children but never married: Georgina MCKENZIE (b.1852-Lilliesleaf,Roxburghshire, died 1924 Girvan) who married John WEIR (b.1854-Cathcart,Glasgow) in 1882 at St Andrews in Edinburgh and they lived in Ayrshire at Barr (1891) and Colmonell (1901) and had three children - John WEIR (b.1883-Colmonell, Ayrshire) James McKenzie WEIR (b.1886-Colmonell, Ayrshire) George McKenzie WEIR (b.1887-Colmonell, Ayrshire) married Jeanie Comrie Perth in 1922 James MCKENZIE (b.1837-Lilliesleaf, Roxburghshire) who sought of disappeared after the 1861 census, where he was at Lilliesleaf. Alexander MCKENZIE (b.1847-Lilliesleaf, Roxburghshire, died Edinburgh 1898) who married Elizabeth HUTCHINSON (b.1849-Musselburgh, Midlothian) in 2 Huntly Street, Edinburgh 21 Jan 1874.
