Just wanted to ask around whether anyone else has an interest in the LOUGH name. Censuses and BMD indexes seem to confirm that most of them (at least in England) are from the Tweedmouth/Berwick area. A couple of other researchers (Ed Lough, Cecil Johnson, Linda McNally, Patricia Goodwill, Sandra McKechnie) are listed in various Internet forums as researching the LOUGHs too but, unfortunately, all their mail addresses bounce.
