    2. Hello, I am new to this site. I read that the BENNETT surname was at once time common amongst the Boernicians and that they were people who lived around the border of England and Scotland. Does anyone know if this is the case, and if so, is there any reseach on the BENNETTS or BENETS? Thank you. Victoria Bennett vb2268@aol.com

    3. Hello Victoria, I don't know if there was any research done on the Bennet name but in some of the M.Is for Roxburghshire there are 28 headstones for Bennet & for Berwickshire there are 9. Is there anyone in particular you are trying to find? Best wishes Carmel
